These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of the TeeTimeCaptain mobile app, website at teetimecaptain.com, and related services (together, the “Service”). The Service is operated by [LEGAL ENTITY NAME] (“we”, “us”, or “our”), registered at [REGISTERED ADDRESS].
By creating an account, sending or responding to an invitation, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Definitions
- Captain — a registered user who creates and manages golf events.
- Guest — a person invited to an event, who may respond via an invitation link without creating an account.
- Event — a golf round or outing organised through the Service, including its proposed dates, times, course options, invitations and responses.
- Pro — the paid subscription tier that unlocks additional features.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country, if higher) to use the Service. By using the Service you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.
3. Accounts
Captains sign in using an account managed through our authentication provider. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly at [SUPPORT EMAIL] if you believe your account has been accessed without authorisation. Guests do not need an account to respond to an invitation.
4. The Service
TeeTimeCaptain helps you coordinate golf rounds: propose dates, times and courses; invite players; collect availability and course votes; lock in a final choice; and send reminders. We may add, change or remove features over time. Some features are only available on the Pro tier, as described in the app and on our website.
5. Invitations and guests
When you invite a guest, you may provide their name and, optionally, their email address or phone number so the Service can deliver the invitation and reminders on your behalf. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to share a guest’s contact details with us and to contact that person (for example, their consent). You must not use the Service to send unsolicited or unlawful messages. Guests can decline to respond and can ask you or us to stop contacting them.
6. Subscriptions, billing and cancellation
The Service offers a free tier and a paid Pro subscription. Current prices and included features are shown in the app and on our website (for example, Pro at £4.99 per month, and optional SMS credit bundles). Prices may change; we will show the current price before you purchase.
Subscriptions and in-app purchases are sold and processed by the app store through which you downloaded the app (the Apple App Store or Google Play), subject to that store’s terms. Payment is charged to your app store account. Paid subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can manage or cancel a subscription at any time in your app store account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are handled under the applicable app store’s policies and your statutory rights; we do not separately process card payments and cannot issue app store refunds directly.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service to send spam, or to harass, deceive or harm others;
- upload or share content that is unlawful, infringing, or that you do not have the right to share;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, other accounts, or our systems;
- interfere with, overload, or disrupt the Service, or bypass its usage limits or entitlements;
- use the Service in breach of any applicable law, including data-protection and anti-spam laws.
8. Your content and responsibilities
You retain ownership of the content you submit (such as event details, notes and guest information). You grant us a limited licence to host, process and transmit that content as needed to operate the Service. You are responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of the content you provide, including any personal data about your guests.
9. Third-party services and information
The Service integrates third-party services (for example, mapping and course information, and messaging and subscription providers). Course details, tee times, availability and directions are provided for convenience and may be inaccurate or out of date; you should confirm arrangements directly with the relevant golf course. We are not responsible for third-party content or services.
10. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, and trademarks, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by law. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our branding except as necessary to use the Service.
11. Disclaimers
The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any event, tee time or course booking will be available. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits rights you have under mandatory consumer-protection law.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim, or £50. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud).
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, losses and expenses arising from your misuse of the Service, your breach of these Terms, or your infringement of another person’s rights (including sending messages to guests without a lawful basis).
14. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or if we reasonably believe it is necessary to protect the Service or other users. On termination, the provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive (including intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will continue to apply.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to notify you (for example, in the app or by updating the date above). Your continued use of the Service after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
16. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of [JURISDICTION — e.g. England and Wales], and the courts of that jurisdiction will have exclusive jurisdiction, except where mandatory local consumer law provides otherwise.
